Municipal Election 2008

MACC asked the candidates three key questions relating to issues which are important to our community and to the downtown.


1. As a member of Council, would you support the concept of a pedestrian focused green corridor connecting downtown Prince George to the Fraser River utilizing existing City lands? If not, what do you envision for City Works Yard once it is eventually vacated and how would this contribute positively to the downtown area? Read Responses

In late October Pacha, Peoples Action Committee for Healthy Air, (1100 members) along with Miller Addition Coalition (200 members) and the North Nechako residents group (100 members) sent out a questionnaire to candidates asking them for their opinions on 9 questions (incumbents had 4 additional questions) that related to Air Quality issues in Prince George .
